If you change the login for the document routing agent, you may experience the following error: “Key not valid for use in specific state”
If you do, then try the following steps to resolve the issue:
- Stop the Windows service “Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations – Document Routing Service”
- Open File Explorer, and go to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft
- Rename the folder “Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations – Document Routing” to “Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations – Document Routing – Old”
- Start the Document Routing Agent client application again. You may notice that it triggers part of the setup again to reinstall missing parts, this is ok.
- Re-enter in the site and domain parameters again, and login again.
- Start again the service “Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations – Document Routing Service”
